The latest briefing comes after local police released a surveillance video of the person they believe to be the shooter. At least two people were killed and nine others injured in a shooting at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. The shooting occurred in an engineering and physics classroom during a final exam review session. Brown University indicated the victims were students. Law enforcement established a perimeter around part of campus and ordered shelter-in-place for locations inside and outside the perimeter, advising no one to move across or near campus without escort. Police released surveillance footage of a suspect described as a male dressed in black who may have worn a camouflage mask. Authorities are canvassing the area and searching for the suspect.
