West Boylston police investigating early morning break-ins at local gyms
""Please DO NOT leave anything of value, in view of your vehicle,""
""If possible leave items of value at home, or at least secured in the trunk, so as not to draw attention to your vehicle.""
West Boylston police warn of a recent increase in car break-ins concentrated at the town's gyms. Thieves have targeted items left on car seats, including bags, pocketbooks, and fanny packs. Police shared photos of a vehicle with a smashed window that had been broken into. The thefts have predominantly occurred in the early morning hours, with some incidents reported as early as 5 a.m. Residents are advised not to leave valuables in view, to leave items at home when possible, or to secure them in the trunk to avoid drawing attention. Anyone with information should contact Detective Michael Rogers at 774-450-3510.
