The actual speech shows the invitation occurred near the beginning and the "fight like hell" passage appeared closer to the end. NPR posted the full video and transcript for review. The inaccurate edit led to the BBC Director General and News chief resigning, and Trump's lawyers threatened a $1 billion lawsuit unless the BBC retracted, apologized, and compensated him; Trump had demanded those three items by a Friday deadline and received two of the three.
