Bill Maher Gets Dr. Phil To Admit Trump Plot To Gain Seats Is Some Bullshit'
Briefly

Bill Maher highlighted President Trump's push for redistricting in Texas, questioning its validity. He emphasized the traditional practice of redistricting occurs after the census, contrasting it with Trump's request for a redo based on potential voter demographics. Dr. Phil McGraw acknowledged that both parties have engaged in redistricting efforts and noted that the Republicans in Texas claim increased representation due to more Republican voters. While he suggested that redistricting can be questionable, he recognized that it is not exclusive to Trump or the Republicans.
BILL MAHER: Here's what's new. In the past, states do this after the census, okay? You get the census every 10 years. You find out, oh, different number of people. Sometimes it makes sense. You have to redraw districts and so forth. Now Trump wants a do-over.
DR. PHIL MCGRAW: Well, it depends. They're not the only ones that have done this. The Democrats do it as well... clearly. Texas is doing it because they say because they've got more Republican voters now, they should have more representation. Is that bullshit? Yeah, sort of.
