'Bullsh*t': Karoline Leavitt Shares Hostile Text Messages With 'Far Left Hack' Reporter
"DATE: Is the president aware of the significance of Budapest? In 1994, Russia promised, in Budapest, not to invade Ukraine if it gave up the nuclear weapons it inherited when the Soviet Union dissolved. Does he not see why Ukraine might object to that site? Who suggested Budapest? Thanks."
"LEAVITT: Your mom did."
"LEAVITT: It's funny to me that you actually consider yourself a journ [sic]. You are a far left hack who nobody takes seriously, including your colleagues in the media, they just don't tell you that to your face. Stop texting me your disingenuous, biased, and bullsh*t questions. For context, S.V. Date of the Huffington Post is not a journalist interested in the facts. He is a left-wing hack who has consistently attacked President Trump for years and constantly bombards my phone with Democrat talking points. Just take a look at @svdate's feed, it reads https://t.co/NxWn2mdUsa"
Karoline Leavitt posted a screenshot of a text exchange with HuffPost reporter S.V. Date in which she exchanged insults after a question about Budapest. Date asked whether the president recognized Budapest’s significance given the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine, and asked who suggested Budapest for a Trump–Putin meeting. Leavitt replied with a crude retort, then called Date a far-left hack, told him to stop sending disingenuous and biased questions, and characterized him as a partisan critic who frequently sends Democratic talking points and attacks President Trump.
