MSNBC announced it will change its name to My Source News Opinion World, or MS NOW, due to its separation from NBC. The change will also involve removing NBC's peacock logo. This decision reflects MSNBC's drive for independence as it builds its own news division. This was not a decision that was made quickly or without significant debate, she said in a memo to staff.
