On 'Life, Liberty, and Levin', Fox News host Mark Levin and Harvard professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz condemned Harvard University for alleged anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism amid ongoing protests supporting Israel. Dershowitz criticized the university's defense of its actions as academic freedom, drawing a parallel to the South during the 1950s when universities supported white supremacy. He argued that the federal government should intervene in Harvardâs operations, especially regarding funding and university policies that he believes promote these harmful ideologies and fail to protect students from discrimination.
Just remember the 1950s in southern schools when presidents of universities were saying, all we want to do is teach white supremacy to our students.
Harvard cannot use academic freedom as an excuse and a justification for teaching anti-Americanism, anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism. It's a structural problem, it goes deep.
