He asked Karoline Leavitt how Kristi Noem's claim that ICE acted correctly squared with deaths in ICE custody, especially the killing of Renee Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross. Leavitt accused Stanage of being a biased left-wing hack, attacked his credibility, and suggested he should not occupy a press seat. Leavitt also excoriated Stanage for not focusing on administration-favored martyrs and effectively disqualified him from the briefing room.
