Ex-vice presidents typically receive six months of coverage after leaving office, but former President Joe Biden extended Harris's security for a full year before leaving office in January. Trump revoked that order. Democrats, however, including Los Angeles mayor Karen Bass ripped the decision as an act of revenge."
