Rep. Mike Lawler expressed frustration over the ongoing scrutiny related to the Jeffrey Epstein case during an interview. He emphasized that unless individuals are prosecuted for crimes linked to Epstein, the discourse appears to be a waste of time. Lawler pointed out that Epstein, a convicted pedophile, is deceased, and his associate is facing legal consequences. He further questioned why media outlets continue to dedicate resources to this topic, given more pressing issues facing the nation. The CNN anchor countered, citing significant reactions within the FBI and the White House regarding the probe, indicating it holds importance for some.
