Hakeem Jeffries makes a speech in a few days in NYC I cannot allow this terrorist to live, Moynihan allegedly wrote, according to court documents obtained by CBS."

Moynihan was arraigned in Town of Clinton Court, remanded to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center, and scheduled to appear in court. State Police, the Poughkeepsie Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force investigated and made the arrest. Court documents allege Moynihan texted that he planned to eliminate Jeffries at an Economic Club of New York event. Moynihan was among roughly 1,500 Capitol rioters pardoned by President Trump on Jan. 20, 2025, and previously served 21 months after a 2023 felony sentence for obstruction of an official proceeding.
