"Politicizing intelligence": Trump admin revokes security clearances of 37 U.S. officials
Briefly

Tulsi Gabbard posted on X accusing certain officials of "politicizing and manipulating intelligence, leaking classified intelligence without authorization, and/or committing intentional egregious violations of tradecraft standards." The memo and Gabbard's post did not detail evidence supporting the allegations. The list includes intelligence community public servants who worked on 2016 Russia interference assessments and national security roles under Presidents Biden and Obama, and some who supported the impeachment inquiry into President Trump over Ukraine. Far-right activist Laura Loomer amplified the list and noted some still held security clearances. Attorney Zaid called the release a Privacy Act violation and said clearance records are protected and should not be released without consent or a routine-use exception. ODNI did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
