Sen. Thom Tillis has called on President Trump to release all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's case. A Department of Justice memo states Epstein did not possess a rumored client list. Attorney General Pam Bondi previously claimed a list was available. The memo reaffirmed the DOJ's conclusion that Epstein committed suicide in 2019. Trump supporters demand transparency regarding the Epstein affair, but Trump has dismissed these calls, labeling the case boring. Tillis countered this sentiment, emphasizing the seriousness of human trafficking and the need for accountability for those involved.
I have to disagree with the president. I don't think human trafficking of young teenage girls being exploited by billionaires on a private island is boring. I think it's despicable. And I believe that anybody who had anything to do with it or knowledge of it should be held accountable. So just release the damn files.
A Department of Justice memo concluded that Epstein did not have the rumored client list many believed he had. That narrative was fueled in part by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who in February claimed the list was sitting on my desk right now.
