Rudy Giuliani returned to his show wearing a harness after release from the hospital following a severe car crash that left him injured and briefly hospitalized. He recounted a Saturday-night sequence involving a car accident and an interruption of a domestic violence incident in which he and co-host Ted Goodman stopped after a woman waved them down. Giuliani described injuries that require ongoing resolution and credited divine protection. The hosts called police at the scene and discovered the woman had attacked her partner, who required ambulance transport. Giuliani played a gladiator song on his iPad and joked about the harness resembling armor.
A terrible accident where I was injured pretty badly. He got shook up somewhat, but I've got a permanent not a permanent, but one that has to be resolved over a period of time injury. After being waved down by a woman on the side of the road while driving, Giuliani and Goodman pulled over to offer their assistance. Just evaluating her, obviously I looked at her very, very carefully, and professional instincts kick in. So you watch every single thing about her, said Giuliani, who recalled that the woman said she was being attacked.
