Scoop: Dan Scavino takes over hiring in Trump's White House

He was one of the few aides to remain by Trump's side after the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol, and he worked on Trump's 2024 campaign. Scavino has been a White House deputy chief of staff in the current administration."

Scavino is described as one of President Trump's most trusted and longest-serving advisers and as able to ensure a qualified, competent, America First-driven workforce. He began in Trump's orbit in the early 2000s running one of the president's golf clubs. He served as director of social media during Trump's 2016 campaign and in the first Trump White House and managed Trump's Twitter account. He remained close to Trump after Jan. 6, worked on the 2024 campaign, and has served as White House deputy chief of staff. He will scrutinize current staff and personnel changes during the office transition.
