President Donald Trump announced moving the U.S. Space Command headquarters from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama. The headquarters will be located at Redstone Arsenal and is expected to create jobs and boost the local economy. Senator Tommy Tuberville described Space Command as the military hub for all operations into space across services and predicted that the next war will likely start and end in or from space. Tuberville urged increased investment in space capabilities after two decades focused on the Middle East and credited Elon Musk and public satellites for current capabilities. Officials estimate roughly half a billion dollars in savings from the move and frame the relocation as enhancing national security.

The next war, God forbid we have one, will be started and probably ended from space. We've gotta catch up. We've spent 20 years of spending money over in the Middle East.
