The US President announced plans to relocate US Space Command headquarters from Colorado to Huntsville, Alabama. He declared Huntsville 'forever to be known from this point as Rocket City' and predicted more than 30,000 Alabama jobs and billions of dollars in investment. He referenced his electoral margin in Alabama and said Colorado's all-mail voting system was a major factor, calling such elections 'automatically crooked.' The previous administration had selected Colorado for the headquarters, while the US military and NASA have extensive facilities around Huntsville. Senator Tommy Tuberville applauded the move; Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser criticized it as politically motivated and harmful to military families.
This will result in more than 30,000 Alabama jobs and probably much more than that, and hundreds of millions of dollars of investment. And that's billions, because it can't be millions. It's billions and billions of dollars.
The problem I have with Colorado, one of the big problems, they do mail-in voting. They went to all mail-in voting, so they have automatically crooked elections, and we can't have that ... so, that played a big factor.
For FOUR YEARS, I have fought to get U.S. Space Command moved to its SELECTED home at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
Thank you, President Trump and Secretary Hegseth, for reversing Joe Biden's political cronyism and restoring MERIT and INTEGRITY to this process.
