"LGBTQ+ individuals are increasingly hiding their identities as a result of Donald Trump's crusade against their rights, new research has found. Nearly half of LGBTQ+ respondents to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Annual LGBTQ+ Community Survey reported "being less out somewhere in their lives" due to Trump's return to office, according to MS Now."

"57% of LGBTQ+ adults also reported being victims of bias and stigma at work this last year, and 40% said their workplace made a DEI-related change over the last year due to the president's executive orders seeking to eliminate DEI programs. Two-thirds of trans and nonbinary adults said Trump administration policies have made it more difficult for them to access health care."
Nearly half of LGBTQ+ respondents reported being less out somewhere in their lives since Trump's return to office. Two-thirds of survey respondents were LGBTQ+, and 30% of those said social acceptance has decreased under the new administration. 57% of LGBTQ+ adults reported workplace bias and stigma in the past year, while 40% said their workplaces changed DEI policies after the president's executive orders. Two-thirds of trans and nonbinary adults reported increased difficulty accessing health care. LGBTQ+ adults were almost twice as likely as non-LGBTQ+ adults to report worsening financial situations over the last year.
