Tim Walz Chastises Democrats For Public Infighting While Republicans Kowtow To The Felon In The White House'
Briefly

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz urged Democrats to end public infighting while President Donald Trump remains in office, calling for unity, accountability, and inclusion. Walz ridiculed Republican loyalty to Trump, mocking symbolic behaviors and warning against inflammatory actions like burning flags. He affirmed that internal debates are acceptable but insisted the party cannot afford to fight itself while Trump occupies the White House. DNC Chair Ken Martin emphasized repairing the party brand and described the main divide as active fighters versus those on the sidelines. Party leaders say they will use all available levers of power to oppose Trump, amid lingering frustration about insufficient action.
We are strong 'cause we challenge each other. We are strong 'cause we're held accountable. We're strong because we believe there's a place for everyone here.
Think of how easy it would be to be a damn Republican, Walz said. Oh, what should I wear today? This stupid frickin' red hat. What should I say today? I don't know, just make sure it's cruel. Who do we listen to? That guy Oh, the felon in the White House? Yeah, listen to him and that will be fine.' Now he's talking about burning flags'cause he knows there's a whole lot of flags with his picture that are going to get burned. There's a whole lot of that kind of crap that people are sick of.
I think the greatest divide right now in our party, frankly, is not ideological, Martin said. The greatest divide is those people who are standing up and fighting and those who are sitting on the sidelines. We're using every single lever of power we have to take the fight to fight Donald Trump.
