A preview aired of a Sunday night 60 Minutes interview in which Norah O'Donnell pressed President Donald Trump about China and Taiwan. O'Donnell noted Chinese military encroachment on Taiwan's sea lanes, airspace and cyberspace and asked whether Trump would order U.S. forces to defend Taiwan if China moved. Trump replied coyly, saying "You'll find out if it happens" and refusing to "give away my secrets." Trump asserted that Xi Jinping would not move militarily while he remains president and said Chinese leaders have told others they would not act because they understand the consequences. The interview is Trump's first sitdown with CBS since a lawsuit settlement.
