Taking to Truth Social on Tuesday morning, the president encouraged Americans to tune in to the ceremony, which took place on Dec. 7."
President Donald Trump promoted his role as host of the Kennedy Center Honors on Truth Social and urged Americans to watch the CBS broadcast and streaming on Paramount+. He asked viewers to evaluate his "Master of Ceremony" abilities and posed whether he should leave the presidency to pursue hosting full-time. The Honors ceremony took place Dec. 7 and honored Sylvester Stallone, Michael Crawford, KISS, George Strait, and Gloria Gaynor. The Kennedy Center board, chaired by Trump, unanimously voted to rename the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after him, and the following day "DONALD J. TRUMP" appeared on the building facade.
