Comey later denied he knew how the message could be interpreted. In an interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Trump ridiculed Comey's explanation for the message.
A child knows what that meant, Trump said. If you're FBI director and don't know what that meant, that meant assassination and it says it clear.
