AI is Here. And It Needs Us
Briefly

AI is already influencing various aspects of content design, such as summarising workshops and creating templates. Content designers often feel hesitant or ashamed about using AI technology, fearing it may be perceived as lazy. However, it's essential for content creators to engage with AI since it directly relates to their work. A constructive space for dialogue about AI helps foster curiosity and critical thinking, allowing for deeper discussions around truth and clarity in the content produced.
AI isn't coming. It's already here. We're all using AI in some capacity. It's summarising workshops, writing user stories, translating content, analysing tone of voice, creating templates, and speeding up research.
AI is influencing user experience, but content designers aren't always at the table when these tools are developed. That's a problem. Because AI is content.
Some admitted feeling ashamed for using AI, worried it might be seen as lazy or 'cutting corners.' Personally, I don't think anyone should be made to feel ashamed for using AI.
If AI isn't telling the truth, what is it doing? And what does that mean for people who care deeply about clarity, trust, and truth?
