Global UX Isn't a Language Problem. It's a System Problem.
Briefly

Cultural background significantly affects design perspectives and user experience. In India, environments are vibrant and cluttered, reflecting a maximalist aesthetic. Upon relocating to the Netherlands, initial design efforts faced obstacles due to their loud nature. Adapting to the local UX market required embracing minimalism, learning to express creatively within a more subdued and refined framework. This transition highlights the importance of understanding cultural context in design work and adapting styles to meet new expectations.
The world where I come from is strikingly different from the world where I am living in right now.
My maximalist portfolio did not work! My designs were too loud and brandish for most companies I initially applied to.
I toned down my work. I learned how to express myself with minimalism.
We are not a 'minimalist' country, and neither are our apps or digital products.
