French Luxury On Display At The Shed In Manhattan: Hidden Treasures
Hidden Treasures is an exclusive French luxury exhibition hosted at The Shed in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards from May 26 to May 31 at the Bloomberg Building. The event presents 250 years of Franco-American stories through a large archival display featuring more than 65 luxury houses and cultural institutions. Each Maison is represented by artifacts that convey its unique history of sumptuousness and cultural dialogue. These stories connect diplomacy, identity, and popular culture across fashion, gastronomy, design, fragrance, and jewelry. The program aligns with The Shed’s mission to support established and emerging artists and to collaborate with partners and community organizations. Participating brands include Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, S. T. Dupont, and Van Cleef & Arpels, alongside institutions such as the Musée du Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Château de Versailles.
"The Shed has grown New York's cultural landscape by supporting established and emerging artists who are advancing art forms and by collaborating with like-minded partners, cultural peers, and community organizations. "Among the 65 brands and institutions invited are renowned luxury houses such as Cartier, Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, S. T. Dupont, and Van Cleef & Arpels. Among the cultural institutions represented are the Musée du Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Château de Versailles."
