With the Switch 2's microphone, you'll be able to use your voice to call out to the residents of your island when you pick up the new megaphone item."
A Switch 2 edition of Animal Crossing: New Horizons will arrive on January 15 with improved graphics and 4K support in TV mode. A same-day free update will also ship for the original Switch, bringing new content like a hotel on the pier, themed room decoration, souvenirs and new outfits. The Switch 2 version adds mouse controls via Joy-Con 2, microphone-based megaphone interactions, expanded online capacity up to 12 players, and camera-supported face overlays. The Switch 2 edition will retail for $65, while a $5 upgrade pack will be available for the original game.
