Activision is abandoning Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile
Briefly

Activision has officially announced the discontinuation of updates for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, which will also be delisted from app stores. The game, launched in March 2024 after a prolonged wait, did not resonate with mobile players as expected. While players who install it before the removal date can retain access, the game's future appears uncertain. Activision encourages players to transition to its other titles by offering rewards, but warns there will be no refunds for unused points or purchases made in Warzone Mobile.
Activision announced it would sunset updates for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, citing underperformance compared to PC and console versions, and delist it from app stores.
The mobile adaptation of the battle royale title, launched two years after being announced, failed to meet expectations and faced optimization and battery life issues.
