New World will no longer receive content updates after Season 10 and the Nighthaven update, initiating a winding down of support. Nighthaven and the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion have been made free to all PC players; the expansion is required to access Nighthaven. Play will continue normally on all platforms, with bug fixes and purchases of in-game currency remaining available. Game servers will remain open through 2026, and a minimum of six months' notice will be provided before any final shutdown. Players received thanks for their dedication and contributions to Aeternum.
