Ark 2 now has a release window set for 2028 after multiple delays following its 2020 announcement. Snail Games announced the date and showed an updated in-game model of Bob, voiced by Karl Urban. Studio Wildcard co-founder Jeremy Stieglitz outlined a two-year roadmap for Ark: Survival Ascended culminating with the Legacy of Santiago expansion, which will lay groundwork and introduce new mechanics for Ark 2. Ark: Survival Ascended sold four million copies across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S since launch. Vin Diesel is involved as "president of creative convergence," aiding development and starring in the game. An animated adaptation released last year, with a second part due in 2026.
