Players will be able to loot new cosmetics for their hideout throughout the quest, and will be rewarded upon completion with a new crystal katana for Naoe."
Assassin's Creed Shadows received a free title update that adds a limited-time Attack on Titan quest set in the eerie Crystal Cave, available from November 25 to December 22. The mission sends protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into the cave to stop a mysterious cult performing dark experiments that risk unleashing a new Titan-based threat on feudal Japan. Players who have unlocked Yasuke can begin the quest by speaking to Ada north of Hanazo Tower in the Yamashiro region. The quest grants hideout cosmetics and awards a crystal katana for Naoe upon completion, while additional AoT-themed outfits, armor, mounts, and weapons are available to buy in the in-game store. The update also brings balance tweaks, bug fixes, and a lighter new story quest called A Puzzlement.
