CoD: Black Ops 7 Zombies Trailer Shows Iconic Characters Fighting For Their Souls
"As shown in the Ashes of the Damned trailer, Black Ops 7's Zombies mode picks up right where Black Ops 6's storyline ended with the Reckoning's main Easter egg quest. Weaver and his crew are standing alongside Takeo, Dempsey, Nikolai, and Richtofen inside of Janus Towers. However, the building and everyone inside has been thrust into the Dark Aether dimension."
"Black Ops 7 brings the new and old crews together for an epic fight. Black Ops 7 launches with the largest round-based map the mode has ever seen, and as can be expected from the trailer, the map takes place inside the Dark Aether. The map is inspired by Black Ops 2's Tranzit map, and a new Wonder Vehicle will be used to traverse the dangerous roads that connect different areas of the map."
Black Ops 7 launches November 14 with a Zombies mode that continues the aftermath of the Reckoning's main Easter egg quest. Weaver's team stands alongside Takeo, Dempsey, Nikolai, and Richtofen inside Janus Towers, with the building and everyone thrust into the Dark Aether. A mysterious new villain — a southern-drawled man in a cowboy hat carrying caged-up zombie heads — appears to siphon life force using those heads, leaving characters purple-eyed and partially zombified. The core conflict centers on fighting this enemy, regaining souls, and escaping the Dark Aether. The mode debuts the largest round-based map yet, Tranzit-inspired, with a new Wonder Vehicle and a reported real-life replica spotted in a stream. Treyarch confirmed the iconic characters are not the same Ultimis or Primis variants seen previously.
