A mysterious new villain — a southern-drawled man in a cowboy hat carrying caged-up zombie heads — appears to siphon life force using those heads, leaving characters purple-eyed and partially zombified. The core conflict centers on fighting this enemy, regaining souls, and escaping the Dark Aether. The mode debuts the largest round-based map yet, Tranzit-inspired, with a new Wonder Vehicle and a reported real-life replica spotted in a stream. Treyarch confirmed the iconic characters are not the same Ultimis or Primis variants seen previously.
