Diablo 4 kicks off new event to hopefully distract your from the game's broken patch
Briefly

The latest update for Diablo 4, patch 2.3.1, was released on July 15 but caused severe game-breaking issues for players, particularly on consoles. Despite being designed to include buffs to various classes, the patch led to serious game lag, character teleportation, damage stacking, crashes, freezes, and missing content. Many players shared their experiences online, noting significant gameplay interruptions, with Blizzard rolling back to the previous version temporarily while resolving these issues. The update was reissued across all platforms, reportedly fixing most major problems encountered by players.
"I can get maybe a 10-minute gameplay in before everything freezes, it will not let me leave properly, to hopefully try to keep any progress or loot I may have acquired," wrote Reddit user That1Guy710_DD4Z.
"Currently trying to load up the game and have been stuck in a loading screen for about 10 minutes, gonna just let it do it's thing," they added.
