Amazon Prime has announced it will stream dubbed and subbed versions of Gundam GQuuuuuuX, a new series from studio Khara. Starting April 8th, the show will be available in over 240 countries, coinciding with its broadcast in Japan. Directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki, and co-written by notable figures Hideaki Anno and Yōji Enokido, this move aligns with Amazon's strategy to bring more popular Japanese anime to a wider audience, following the success of titles like Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.
FLCL was enjoyed by many fans overseas, which brought me great joy. Now, after all these years, I am truly delighted to be able to present this new title through digital streaming.
