Afterward, speak to the Iron Menial at Roundtable Hold, who will mention he has a message from the Small Jar Merchant. This begins the process of unlocking the Scholar and Undertaker. To unlock the Balancers expedition--which includes Nightreign's two new bosses--you'll need to defeat at least two bosses (Tricephelos and one other) and have the Scholar and Undertaker unlocked."
The Forsaken Hollows DLC for Elden Ring Nightreign must be purchased and downloaded or obtained through the Deluxe Edition. After installation, the Scholar and Undertaker become unlockable by defeating the first boss, Tricephelos, then speaking with the Iron Menial at Roundtable Hold who relays a message from the Small Jar Merchant. The Balancers expedition and its two new bosses require at least two bosses defeated (including Tricephelos) and the Scholar and Undertaker unlocked. Access the Balancers expedition via the chapel behind the Small Jar Merchant, which also unlocks The Great Hollows Shifting Earth event. The Balancers present a challenging endgame encounter.
