Microsoft has reportedly decided to set aside its plans for an Xbox handheld console to concentrate on enhancing Windows 11's gaming performance for third-party devices. Although the company has developed prototypes in the past, including those acknowledged by CEO Phil Spencer, any plans for a dedicated Xbox handheld have been postponed. Spencer mentioned that the technology for a handheld is still being developed but isn't a current priority. Meanwhile, Microsoft is also working towards significant advancements in their next-generation Xbox console.
