New Divinity Will Feature Continuity And Characters From Original Sin 2
"Following the breakout success of Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios is revisiting its past in Divinity, a new installment in the Divinity franchise that was revealed during The Game Awards. Now, Larian has revealed that the upcoming game will feature some characters and continuity from 2017's Divinity: Original Sin 2. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is now available for Nintendo Switch 2, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5."
"On Larian's official site, the publisher noted that "Divinity will offer a completely new story, but there's some continuity and characters for those who've played previous games. You might even pick up on certain things others may not." It added that Original Sin 2 "is a standalone game and can be experienced on its own, but we will always recommend trying out Divinity: Original Sin for the best experience.""
