Patch 0.106.0 for the beta branch includes reworks to some Neow’s Ancient relics, a mix of card nerfs and buffs, new animations, and reworked Elite fights. The Skulking Colony Elite is weakened by increasing its minimum damage per turn to 20 and removing its ability to gain block on its turns. Infested Prism is strengthened with a new Tainted mechanic: playing a skill card against it makes the player temporarily Tainted, starting at 3 per skill and increasing by 3 every few turns. Tainted grants Infested Prism temporary strength, causing multi-hit attacks to deal additional damage per hit. Aeonglass, the new Act 3 boss replacing Doormaker, adds Wither with a new pattern tied to card play.
"The Skulking Colony Elite received a relatively sizeable nerf, as it can now take a minimum of 20 damage per turn (up from 15) and it no longer gains block on any of its turns. But Mega Crit giveth and Mega Crit taketh away, because the buffs to the Infested Prism Elite are downright nasty."
