Sony will host a PlayStation State of Play on September 3 at 2PM ET focusing solely on IO Interactive's James Bond game. The stream will run for over 30 minutes and include a deep gameplay dive, featuring a full playthrough of a young Bond's first mission. IO Interactive previews promise sequences ranging from high-speed car chases to on-foot stealth and shootouts. IO Interactive plans to reveal additional 007 First Light gameplay details during or after the showcase and may narrow the game's release window. 007 First Light is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2026. Players can sample IOI's design via the Hitman World of Assassination bundle, which offers the first location for free.
