Destruction AllStars launched for PlayStation 5 in February 2021 and received mixed reviews. Sony later announced the game will go offline permanently later in 2026. Destruction AllStars and its associated virtual currency will be removed from the PlayStation Store on May 26, 2026 at 14:00 UTC and will no longer be purchasable. Single-player modes will remain available to existing users until November 25, 2026 at 15:00 UTC, when all server support will be shut down. Multiplayer services were already taken offline due to ongoing technical issues. Virtual currency will not be refunded and can only be spent before servers go offline. The game was originally planned as a $70 title but was delayed and downgraded to $20, with PS Plus subscribers receiving it for free.
