Katamari Damacy director Keita Takahashi's latest game, To a T, features a quirky premise and catchy music. Starring a teen named Teen with arms in a T pose and their dog, Dog, the narrative unfolds through eight humorous chapters that resemble a kids cartoon. However, while the game is visually appealing and full of creative character designs, its exploration of themes and story depth feels insufficient, leading to a repetitiveness that can underwhelm players seeking more substantial content.
To a T feels like a particularly strange kids cartoon. Each episode begins with the intro song that played in its reveal trailer and concludes with an excellent ending theme by Stephen Universe creator Rebecca Sugar.
The game stars a teen named Teen whose arms are permanently stretched into a T pose, and their dog, Dog, who helps them with things like brushing their teeth and getting dressed.
