After a lengthy wait, Xbox is finally enabling beta testers to purchase games and downloadable content (DLC), as well as sign up for Game Pass, directly through its mobile app on Android and iOS. However, this new feature comes with the downside of disabling remote play within the app itself. Despite the limitation, users can still access remote play through a mobile browser. Additionally, updates include game streaming capabilities for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, enabling them to play games without downloading them first.

Once Microsoft officially launches in-app game purchases, you'll see a 'Buy' button on game pages if you already have a form of payment saved.
