Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma allows players to earn gold through various means like monster slaying and farming. While defeating monsters doesn't directly yield gold, players can collect valuable items such as horns and fur to sell for profit. Becoming skilled in the Social Activities skill tree, particularly as a Skilled Merchant, further enhances earning potential. Farming remains a core focus, with particular emphasis on crops that yield high returns quickly. Both Spring Village and Autumn Village offer ideal conditions for crop growth, where players are encouraged to grow profitable crops like Rice, Corn, and Pink Melon.
Slaying monsters doesn't necessarily net you gold, but the items they drop often make up for the challenge. Many beasts will drop valuable items such as horns, teeth, fur, and skins.
A single run to the wilds can easily net you thousands of gold by selling the monster drops you farm. Progressing down the Social Activities skill tree, especially the Skilled Merchant option, increases your selling prices.
Farming is one of the earliest skills you'll learn in Rune Factory. It's suggested to prioritize crops in Spring Village and Autumn Village for the best returns.
When planting crops, prioritize those with the highest return and shorter growing periods. Crops over 30 gold each, like Rice and Corn, are recommended.
