Ovechkin has been keeping all his milestone gear, including the goal pucks, after every goal he scores. He was seen giving the stick he scored 900 with to Capitals equipment manager Brock Myles when he went back to the bench."

Binnington fished the puck from the net with his stick, placed it down his pants near his buttocks, and tried to skate to the Blues bench to stash it. NHL linesman Michel Cormier noticed the action, asked for the puck back, and Binnington reached into his pants to return it. Ovechkin routinely keeps milestone gear and handed the stick he scored goal 900 with to Capitals equipment manager Brock Myles. Ovechkin plans to open a museum in Moscow with his memorabilia.
