Todd Lyons, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, is set to resign at the end of May. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin announced the resignation and wished Lyons luck in his future endeavors in the private sector. The reason for Lyons' departure has not been disclosed. His resignation comes amid changes in the Department of Homeland Security following the firing of former Secretary Kristi Noem by President Trump. The identity of Lyons' successor remains unknown.
