This new indoor play space for kids just opened inside a five-story spa in Queens
Spa Castle in Queens' College Point introduced Kids Castle, an indoor play zone exclusively for ages 5–10. The play area replaces hydrotherapy elements for children with hands-on workshops, cozy lounge corners, interactive games and high-energy activities. Parents can leave children to play while they access the spa's full adult amenities, including seven themed saunas, shiatsu massages, outdoor hydrotherapy pools, coed water parks and a Korean restaurant. The original Queens facility spans multiple floors and includes separate nude bathing areas on the first level. The expansion leverages the venue's eclectic, year-round offerings to create a family-friendly experience where adults relax and kids stay engaged.
"Kids Castle lives inside the same sprawling complex known for everything from neon-lit saunas to year-round outdoor pools, but the new play area taps into a sense of surreal delight, swapping hydrotherapy for hands-on workshops, cozy lounge corners, interactive games and plenty of energy-burning activities. Kids get a full afternoon of fun and parents get permission to disappear into a whirlpool without guilt."
"It's a clever expansion for Spa Castle, which already draws a wildly mixed crowd of everyone from frat bros and couples to aunties who take their sauna rotations seriously-and has quietly become one of the city's most talked-about daycation spots. The original Queens location sprawls across multiple floors, with separate nude bathing areas on the first level and coed water parks, themed saunas and a Korean restaurant upstairs."
