Project Zin 2025 Celebrates 15 Years of Community, Compassion, and Exceptional Wine in Sonoma County - Food & Beverage Magazine
Briefly

Project Zin 2025 is set to take place on August 16, 2025, at Bricoleur Vineyards in Windsor, marking 15 years of impactful charity work in Sonoma wine country. The event has evolved from a $25,000 fundraiser in 2010 to raising nearly $400,000 in 2024, reflecting a profound community spirit. Founded by Clay and Carrie Mauritson in response to their son Brady's Down Syndrome diagnosis, the event promotes acceptance and advocacy. Each year features 21 Zinfandel producers, symbolizing the community's unity and shared purpose.
"Brady has taught us that our differences are our greatest strengths, and that community support can move mountains," explains Clay Mauritson, whose family's 350-acre vineyard operation represents a winemaking legacy dating back to 1868.
"Project Zin has become so much more than a fundraiser-it's a celebration of inclusion, acceptance, and the power of coming together for something bigger than ourselves," adds Carrie Mauritson.
