"I'm really proud of all these years of hard work and practice every day which got me to where I am, Lu told CBC Toronto."
"I realized I could hit the ball so far. And every day I would come back to the course and I always had the urge, the drive to keep getting better, Lu said."
"She's our teacher and mentor, Xiao said, referring to her daughter Audrey Lu, who has inspired her family with her dedication to golf."
Audrey Lu, a 12-year-old from Vaughan, Ontario, is competing in the Drive, Chip and Putt championship finals at Augusta National Golf Club. She is one of four Canadians in the Girls 12-13 age group. Lu has been playing golf since age five and has received recognition for her achievements, including a certificate from Vaughan's mayor. Her family, including her father as caddy and her younger brother as a supporter, has been instrumental in her journey. Lu expresses gratitude for the support she has received throughout her golfing career.
