Charlisse Ledger-Walker added 12 points and five assists after returning from a redshirt season. UCLA began the third quarter with a 16-0 run that pushed the margin to 58-38. San Diego State rallied in the fourth but could not overcome the deficit. UCLA hosts UC Santa Barbara in its home opener Thursday.
