South Carolina had four players in double figures, led by Ta'Niya Latson and Joyce Edwards with 16 points each. Madina Okot posted 12 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out. This loss was South Carolina's first since the NCAA championship game in April; the teams had split regular-season meetings last season before South Carolina won the SEC Tournament final and Final Four matchups.
