WSL record appearance holder Nobbs joins Newcastle

Jordan Nobbs has signed with Newcastle United following her release from Aston Villa. The 32-year-old midfielder holds a record 208 appearances in the Women's Super League and 71 England caps. She started her career at Sunderland, moved to Arsenal in 2010, and won multiple titles over 12 years. After scoring 81 goals in 270 games with Arsenal, she joined Villa in January 2023. Nobbs expressed a desire to help Newcastle achieve promotion and emphasized her winning mentality. Manager Becky Langley praised her experience and quality for the squad.
